I'm interested to the conversion too. I will help with the converter. 
I'm going to install MediaWiki on my server to have the tool right under 
my hands.

Please, let me know the current status of the converter. I've read the 
thread and I know the plugin discussed about TYPO3 OO Import (export ?).

I agree with Peter, it's important to write documentation, go on it. But 
to my eyes tools are important to structure our work and to make us 
efficient.

Deep article / document export should not be a problem with the Wiki, we 
certainly can read the data at DB level if needed. :-)
