[TYPO3-dam] DAM and FE-Search

Hi, first of all, i've installed the DAM-Extension and i like it very much.
But now i'm not sure, if this extension is the right choice for my use.

I want to index the pictures on my site and the FE-index_search should find
the pages (or the pictures) and display the results like normal search
results.

Thats all i want to reach - so is the DAM-Extension the right decision?
