[TYPO3-dam] DAM returning CGI error

Hi,

Just to make sure i am on the right track here..

We have 4 big files (+250MB) uploaded to the dam, and every time we try 
to locate thes files in th dam, we get an CGI timeout error.

Does this error mean that because of the big files, Imagemagick doesn't 
have enough time to render the thumbnail. and this is causing the 
error.
This is my conclusion.

Can anyone else confirm this, or are there other problems?

we have typo3 running on a windows server. We are going to upgrade to a 
new unix server in a month or so. Does anyone know if imagemagick is 
faster on unix then on win?
