[TYPO3-commerce] Dropdown for categories

Hi,

thanks for your answer.
I've read the wiki and other tutorials many times the last days.
But unfortunately i haven't found anything about displaying the 
categories as a dropdown.
There is one other thread here in the mailinglist but it's also the 
question only with no solution given :-(

I also run into trouble with localization of shop now.
I read here, that I have to add seperate alternative pagelanguages to 
the productsfolder of the extension and then localize the contents of 
the shop? Is that true?
