[TYPO3-caretaker] Insecure Extension problem

Hi!
I have a TYPO3 site up and running which uses a static index.html file
as an entry point. This is meant to provide the visitors a "gateway" to
choose between different sub domains and is not managed by TYPO3.

When trying to test that installation for unsecure extensions it results
in an error every time as caretaker uses the following Url to fetch the
extension list:
http://www.domain.tld/?eID=tx_caretakerinstance&rst=1

This triggers the index.html file as this is the predefined apache behavior.

Can the test be configured to use the URL
http://www.domain.tld/index.php?eID=tx_caretakerinstance&rst=1
instead?
