[TYPO3-calendar] Fatal Error: undefined method tx_cal_ts_service::categoryService()

Hi all!

When I install cal_ts_service-1_2_0-dev-r3013.t3x with calendar base 
1.4.0 dev r3004 I end up with this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method 
tx_cal_ts_service::categoryService() in 
/var/www/dev/typo3conf/ext/cal_ts_service/service/class.tx_cal_ts_service.php 
on line 435

I tried to assign a StartingPoint as described in then manual but could 
not find that field in the backend. My server runs Typo3 4.5.2.

Also: plugin.tx_cal_controller.pidList = {$my_cal_folder} has no effect.

Any ideas welcome!
