VIDI stands for Versatile and Interactive Display.

It encapsulates the data view, needed to manage DAM assets. In short 
this had been put into an own package - creating an ExtJS Based view 
backend module which lists records via "Category" tree, allows easy 
filtering, inline editing and so on.

To make this technology usable for other things than DAM 2.0 ist got 
it's own package.
