hola chaps! (spent the last two weeks in La Gomera, ;-) thus )
During the last 2 weeks I played around with mysql-proxy [1] for usage
with TYPO3.
I'm basically intersted in T3 + mysql-proxy-usage for
- analyzing mysql-traffic,
- rewriting (optimizing) mysql-traffic,
- for fail-over szenarios (hot-standby master > slave) and
- for scaling out (mysql-master + multiple slaves).
Q-1: Has anybody of you already gathered experience with mysql-proxy and
TYPO3?
Q-2: Only somewhat related: we're more and more using ec2 + s3 [2] for
testing and development; anybody to share experience with
production-usage on ec2? Especially the combination of scalr [3] +
ec2/s3 looks highly attractive for high-traffic-sites to me.
