[Typo3-marketing] Watch that source code

Hi all,

At first I would like to thank everybody for their contribution to the
list of typo3 websites of what I called “Premium Brands and Big
Organisations”. I originally inteded to put this list together as a sort
of marketing help and yet another argument for the use of the cms typo3.
The list has gotten rather long, which in my opinion is not neccesarily
good or bad, depending on the usage. My goal however was to have a
powerful list with “big names” at hand. A list which could be shown to
anybody (in this case anybody in Germany) with the effekt that they will
recongnize all or at least most of the companies on it, regardless of
their business background. Namedropping so to speak. To achive this I’m
trying to find an objektive critiria on which this can be based. So if
somebody already has an idea or knows of an index or a survey conducted on
this matter, please let me know.

But the maybe even more interesting questions on this list were asked by
Sabina;

	“where will you put the list below?
	Some other countries to follow?”

To be honest, I haven’t realy thought the whole thing completely through
yet. So I’m not sure where and how to post this list. The least I could do
is complete the list and mail it to the typo3 marketing mailing list

An other idea would be to post the list as a downloadable pdf on the
typo3.org site (e.g.: http://typo3.org/about/sites-made-with-typo3/). It
might be a good alternative to the already posted 3960 sites. ???
Being new to typo3, I’m not realy sure if this type of list is realy that
interesting for everybody. So before I put too much work and effort into
it I would happy about any type of suggestions and comments on this
matter.

To the question concerning other countries I should probably start off by
pointing out my German nationality and my therefore rather limit knowledge
on profile and popularity of brands and organisations in other countries.
So I guess the Author of a list for another country should be from that
country or at least should have extended knowledge of it.
