I think we can raise money for hardware/hosting with no problem.

I see post about it in user-list.
Perfomance of typo3.org was slowly sometimes.
So many people can donate $20-$50 (or may be more) to hardware.
If we make "donation indicator" etc, I think we can collect $2000 in 2 weeks
for good 1 year good server in good datacenter.
(I do not know this hosting staff, may be I am not correct).
