Hi folks,

I have only one offer yet for helping to rewrite the About-section on
TYPO3.com.
Brenda, Butsch and others have offered their help in the past.

Are you still available?

Georg, can you start with the "performance"-page?

Michelle has taken up the task of writing a new "feature list".

Would be great, if some more people would be interested to help out.

Here is again a quick list of pages and subjects that could "adopt":

2.1 About - introduction/overview

2.1.1 What is a CMS - Primer: A. Definition/Principles Separation of
Contents from Designand Structure... B. Content Managment at Work Diagramm
showing the Content Lifecycle C. System Elements

2.1.2 Highlights ▪ price and license TCO and ROI, financial aspects of
freedom ▪usability/ease of use I would love to see a little fl ash-movie
here▪ feature-richness List of extensions, ten highlights▪ freedom to
extendand adapt Open architecture yet defined API, rate of new exts beig
published,▪ hugeinstalled base inculding top brand

2.1.3 Feature list - inspired by CMS Matrix, OSCOM matrix,
contentmanager.net ,CMSstudy conducted by The University of Warwick

2.1.4 Screenshots

2.1.5 Price & License- quotes from Forrester, Metagroup, Brodeur that will
help to showwhat advantages F/OSS-Software has and why TYPO3 is a very good
example.

The rest of the pages will have to go I think:

2.1.6 Association - Basic Info

2.1.7 History- moving to .org.?

2.1.8 Snowboard - This should become "Events" or "Conference" (?)
This will lead to TYCon3

Cheers

Daniel
