Good morning marketing group,

I'm not sure if this is right forum to ask these question or advices but
I still try.

Background, as some of You know I've been using Typo3 since (?) veeeeery
early releases. I'm chief translator for Finnish and my colleague is for
Swedish. We have some 30 sites done with Typo3. Now we have got some
other Finns awake trying to use Typo3 and they insist that some
extensions should be translated immediately and of course in both these
languages. Finnish language has been normally 100% translated but lately
I have been busy and lacking at little in translations, in Swedish
situation is worse due limited time resources and lack of volunteers who
skillful enough.

Questions;

- Should the degree of translation situation be shown somewhere in
marketing material? Or should translation be at all marketed ? This is
because I need quite of 4 languages, Finnish, Swedish, English and
German and one of the is usually missing. Sometimes I need also
Estonian, Danish and Russian and it makes me situation even more
difficult. Note: extensions can be translated by domain/installation
basis if there is somebody doing the translation locally, but in this
case Typo3 will lose one of its' powerful arguments.

- Which are the up-to-date guidelines and rules to verbal sponsorship of
Typo3 ? I mean use of colors and logos, how links etc should be used
when supporting Typo3 use and development on national pages or on pages
where consulting company presents its tools. This last relates also my
personal interests as I'll do a subdomain in Finnish for Typo3 during
summertime. But at the moment I need this info to "advice" some Finnish
consulting companies because from their pages it's difficult to
understand that they have not developed Typo3 (, You got the hint?).

Sorry of this long email just before 1st of May, but actually I'm a
little bit desperate due "spamming" of some Finnish newbies. And sorry
if somebody sees this email off-topic on this list, I think this is
right list in anyway.

Cheers,
Kari
