hi friends,
this is a really short mail (compared to all your input before) and quite a
"female" one ;-)
1. thanx to Sander, who started (with his paper) this discussion - in
my opinion, it's one of the most vivid and fruitful ones on this list (!)
2. thanx to all all of you, who actively participate in this topic!

>So all list-attendies might share, praticipate in and leverage the
>collective TYPO3 mkgt-knowledge AND practical experience. (which, of
>course also requires that all the list-lurkers should wake up and move
>their butts towards action;).
>Could we agree upon such a practice & Could YOU (YEP - YOU, the reader aka
>.."man in the mirror") please be the first to follow up on my previously
>sent short list, with your experiences & tips on WORKING and NOT-WORKING
>Marketing-Exercises ?

okok, mr. colleague, first offer from Austria:
the TUGA-marketing team will compose a collection of successful and
unsuccessful marketing tools and channels used in AT and supply to this
list by end of june/beginning of july 05.

>Up until now, AFAIR, there have been less than a hand full of postings
>doing the above, that is sharing knowledge ...
>regards georg, reflecting the current's discussion feedback and being
>dissapointed by the low response rate;

guess, that's just a reflection of reality.
but, to be honest: I really wonder, why we don't read ANY statement from:
a. Denmark - the place of birth of that wonderful tool
b. UK - where we shurele have the advantage of same languge (like US)
combined with European spirit
c. France - don't we have big customers like Dassault out there?
d. Germany - more input than Daniel's since its definitively the
biggest TYPO3 market
e. Spain - what about the big South American market ready for OS?
f. Italy - where we can find a lot of TYPO3-sites online....

3 possible reasons:
1. people are not subscribed to that list --> then we have to make it
easier to find us! :-)
2. professional marketeers and enterpreneurs are not working for free
or don't see their benefit
3. the out-there's still expect others - us or mainly the Association
- to deliver ready-to-go strategies, tools, materials,....

so far from that planet,
sabina
