So find the contents pasted in below.

1 Wishes for the Marketing Sessions

We started by making a list of all the exepected topics for the Marketing
Session:

· History of the Marketing-Activities until today

· Sales Material

· Presswork

· Product-Comparisons (TYPO3 versus Zope, etc.)

· Figures & Statistics (Pageimpressions, Number of Developers
worldwide, Number of Installations, etc.)

· Pan-european Projects (How to coordinate) (NOTE DH: I think this was
international, not european)

· Teams & projects (NOTE DH: don't remember this being mentioned)

· Certification

· Donations

2 SWOT-Analysis (NOTE DH SWAT means Special Weapons and Tactics :-)

Strengths:

· No License Costs

· Usability

· Multi-Language

· Flexibility

· Portability

· European Product

· Integrator independent

Weaknesses:

· Backend User Administration

· No Support

· No Warranty

· Missing Workflow

· Missing Modularity

· Missing DBAL

· Quality of Extensions

Opportunities:

· Enterprise Market

· Bigger Agencies

· Good Extension Review-Process

· Certification

· Government

· Rest of World

Threats: (NOTE DH :instead of threads, I added two I had on my list)

· PHP ¯

· The Community forks

· Extension Review is bad

· quality of service not maintained by consultancies

· sponsored projects model fails

3 Marketing/Sales Material

It was agreed upon, that NO COMMON Brochures, Fact Sheets or Folders will be
produced.

Cooperations between Agencies themselves across nations, too - are
welcomed.

Recent Add-On: The Austrian User Group
(TUGA) will probably start producing a kind of Modular-Design-Set as follows
(since it will only be useful for german-speaking countries, the following
description is german): “zielgruppen-orientierte Unterlagen in einer Art

Whoever is interested in that (co-working or buying): please contact
sl at plan2.net <mailto:sl at plan2.net> . thanxs!

4 Presswork

All typeheads will start to cooperate on presswork from Kitzbühel on.

This means, that every country via it¹s typehead - will inform the others
via their typeheads about local news: interesting new customers, fairs,
analysis, big projects, ...

Sabina will propose possible press-topics to the typeheads for the upcoming
year

5 www.typo3.com

The Site should be advanced: we agreed to start with Localisation; this
means in the first step to translate and review (adopt it to
marketing/sales-language) the Content.

Daniel suggested to involve Jan Holzmann with the work on professional
german text as sponsored Project. The agencies present agreed to collect
money for this purpose.

Other localisation initiatives for other languages are invited to ccome
forth.

6 conclusion or who will do what

PRESSWORK

1. All typeheads will start to co-operate from now on directly on local and
international topics via the mailing list.

2. Additionally Sabina will propose possible (non-technical) press-topics to
the typeheads for the upcomming year, so that the frequency of
TYPO3-presence rise in the press.

MARKETING / SALES MATERIAL

1. Whoever is interested in co-working for common give-away products: please
contact the t3-marketing list.

2. Whoever is interested in co-working for the modular set: please contact
sl at plan2.net. thanxs!

1. Daniel will take care for localising the site to German by involving Jan
Holzmann with the work on professional text (as sponsored Project).

2. Daniel will take care for the possibility to have some Statistics on the
Site. (NOTE DH:) Mr. Jan-Hendrik Heuing has committed to produce a stat info
interface until the end of January for this purpose.
