[Typo3-marketing] Typo3 != TYPO3 / function of the typeheads / calendar

hi all
maybe no one seems to care about this, but there is a BIG difference
between Typo3, typo3 and TYPO3. one is correct, and two aren't.
I think at least for marketing purposes we should stick to the TYPO3.
my suggestion/wish: please check the spelling in your documents and
change it.

========
concerning the typehead-functionality (or better: non-functionality):
Daniel: I'd like to tell you what I would like to write in the
press-release as soon as I have more reliable information what will
be/changed/added/better in 3.6.

I have quite a few non-official reports on 3.6 but no official
information about all the "ingredients" in the new version.
ok, I have installed RC1 and work with it. Not very interesting to tell
people that some icons have changed.
XHTML is coming/working - but to be true: as soon as you have installed
any extension xhtml it is not any more XHTML compliant. what else will
be in 3.6?
I have heard that the DAM will be included. true?

so one thing which I really would like to communicate: the source code
is improved, better description of the classes, some core-functions have
changed - all this is for an open source CMS one of the major things. I
think we should target this subject to technical-oriented press (c't).

concerning the rest of the press (the non-technical): I would be very
interested in having more precise information about 3.6.
one thing could be: let's send them some statistics/facts! I have heard
that TYPO3 is the 3. most used CMS in Switzerland!

========

concerning a calendar: why don't we just keep it simple? let's just
build a list of all upcoming events.
julle_events is a great start for this!
one of the typeheads gathers all the information from the other
typeheads and other interested people (I would do that) adds the events
into a list and that's it.
so we do not have to wait another few month until we find any calendar
that has fe-editing functions.

have a nice weekend!

cheerio
