As for maintenance: may be developers can maintain demo for some
advertising?
(not much, may be special "About this demo" page, link to this page on the
home page and in the bottom of all pages?)
I am freelance web developer, if it will bring me new orders regularly, I
will be happy to maintain this site.
We also can consider to make hi-end design for our demo on the same basis.
(I know one prof designer (www.viktoria.ru)  who may be agree to do this)

But I do not know, If this advertising is acceptable to community

This site must be in one BackEnd to illustrate content sharing.
Is it possible to use TV on one branch of pages-tree and not use TV on other
branch?
If visitors will see in the left frame of BE two links "Page","Page" with
different icons - it is not good
(it will give the impression of unsupported alpha GPL - product :-))

Most people do not believe much to diagrams, screenshots.
I think we need to show at least two types of demo:
- small site (with 20-30 pages) and 2 domains in one BackEnd
- very large site with 150 -400 pages. Visitors must understand that it is
good to manage this large site with our BE
