Maybe I'm missing something, but it sounds like you are thinking of tutorial
videos. I was thinking of more presentation style videos. They would answer
the question, "I don't know if I want to use TYPO3, so what can it do?"
instead of, "I want to use TYPO3, so how do I use it?". This way we could
get them excited right away about the software. I was at a meeting yesterday
with a company that is moving to T3. While the IT developers loved the
tutorial videos on typo3.org, the marketing people couldn't seem to
understand TYPO3 or what it did. They were convinced they had to learn PHP.
;)

I envision that these "marketing" videos would complement the demo sites. I
could make an intro for each demo site that discusses TYPO3 as a solution
for that industry.

But I understand that the demo sites will need some type of tutorial since
adding a news record, blog entry, calendar entry, etc. is not completely
intuitive at first to people that have never used TYPO3. For that I would
like to see a separate video tutorial for each demo site (short and sweet).
I could do that as well. That way people would have instructions for that
particular demo site.

Also, what video format would you want? Has anyone considered Flash video? I
was thinking it could leave us with one format that's pretty cross-platform.

Thoughts??
