We would like to stream those videos, but did not find appropriate tools 
based on linux. We are also not into video encoding. I think this would be 
much better then just downloading the videos and waiting for them until you 
can see them.

BTW: Traffic for the videos is very constant: It had about 100GB in january, 
and we still have something like that now. Beside that: All 
typo3-project-related hosting had about 250gb in january, and roughly 500 in 
november.
