ok then, I guess mailman has holliday to cause I didn't receive it while
other messages I got double..

there's a lot going on in the edu-field but I thought it was time to
round-up the discussion for the time being 'cause there's enough input for
setting up the subdomain so I'm mailing with everybody in private now to get
material.
about five people from universities will write a case study and about eight
or nine will join some kind of think tank. the sub has to do it's work in
the field of primary schools since we seem to be the only typo company with
this kind of customers at the moment. (or not list?)
what i would really advise everybody on this list is to give these schools
special attention on your corporate website since they're all looking for
local typo's. we also offer them a 15% discount which helps a lot. (altough
don't underestimate the budget they have!)

the project you mentioned, what was this project for, a primary school? and
what where you going to create, an electronic learning environment or just a
website? anyhow I guess it's a bit difficult to write a case-study when the
project was canceled or not?

my planning is that we consider july 'till half of august as a vacation for
the list (as you might have noticed) and take this time to write material.
after the break we start building the sub and reactivate the discussion when
there's a beta to judge, agree? but ofcourse all your input is valuable so
shoot if you have some ammo!

Have a hot & steamy day,

Sander
