Hello Everyone,

I have unzipped the source files into typo3_src-7.6.0 one level above document root (on BlueHost), called public_html and www. I have copied .htaccess to the document root. I used putty to ssh and add the symlinks which appears to have worked as they now appear in the directory listing. When I go to mydomain.com/typo3 typo3/install typo3_src or any folder like this I get a 403 permission error. I can't seem to work out what else I need to do. The permission on the folder appears to be 755.

"403 Permission Denied
You do not have permission for this request /typo3"

Any tips would be much appreciated!

Do I need to create a folder at the same level as document root called htdocs and add the symlinks there? I don't appear to have a folder called htdocs anywhere.

regards,

Simon
