[TYPO3-linux] /typo3_src should be a link, but it does not exist: Links cannot be fixed by this system

Hello there,

currently i am trying to intall typo3 in order to test it.
i extracted the typo3 download into \var\www (in the root folder)
there is a folder \var\www\typo3 with the source.

i've installed it regardless of the error, but then when i try to "surf" on the testsite i always get a 404.

it says, it cannot be fixed on this system. i am using linux xubuntu.

so, what kind of problems do i encounter when i ignore this message? can i fix it?
