you can try the following steps under TYPO3 6.2.2:

1. Clear all TYPO3 Caches.
2. Remove all cookies for your subdomaine from the browser.
3. Try out other browsers.
4. Use Firefox and Firebug and see if there is any error message shown 
during the login process.
