[TYPO3-linux] GMENU not working after backup/reinstall Ubuntu 10.4

Hi
I have backed up my TYPO3 Ver. 4.1.3 and reinstalled ubuntu 10.4 due
to problems with the RAID configuration.

Everything seems to be running after reinstalling typo3 but the basic
menu that is run from GMENU and gifbuilder.

 The pictures that it creates gets scrambled.

Is there some sort of conflict in Lucid that scrambles pictures made
with GIFBUILDER ?
