[TYPO3-linux] BE login accepted, but return to login box on fresh install 4.4.2

Hi again,

update: used the exactly same setup with 4.5.0alpha1 and BE login works 
now! Out of curiosity, I tried 4.1.14 as well and it also works.

I noticed that the compatibility check update in the update manager must 
be performed, before any other options become visible (with 4.1.14): 
this is not the case with 4.2.0 and 4.5.0alpha1, error or intended?

That said, it would be preferable to have the stable version 4.4.2 work 
this way as well, so if anyone has an overview of the changes in the 
login process between the versions above, I'd be still very interested.
