[TYPO3-linux] Typo3 dummy site install page showing empty

I posted this problem as quoted in the text below to the Install group  
earlier. Even when I followed the advice of increasing the  
memory_limit in the php.ini file and restart Apache, the dummy site  
installation page just shows empty. Does anyone know how to get further?

  I have been trying to install Typo3 together with Apache (httpd) on
a Redhat server. After unzipping the source and dummy files, moving
them to /var/www/html/ and changing permissions, I was supposed to
access an installation page. It just shows up empty for me. The
address is http://web.lmdg.econ.au.dk/typo3/index.php .
What should I do for the tool to show? Thanks in advance.
