[TYPO3-linux] Typo3 and Domain Records

Hi All
 
I'm migrating a Typo3 from windows to Linux and From multi site install
to shared source. 
Now on the Windows server domains where controlled by mod_rewrite and
Typo3 Domain records eg:
localhost pointed to /typo3/.
 
Now I need to know if I install the sites individually can I the still
use the domain records from windows Typo3 or will I need to add the
Domain alias's to Apache_conf (httpd.conf) under ServerAlias ?
