[TYPO3-linux] SUSE or Debian?

If you plan to use it for a TYPO3 site, I recommend you use Debian Sarge.
The main reason for that is that Debian luckily seems to be used by a
majority of TYPO3 servers. You can trust that it works, and you'll get good
support in here.
