[TYPO3-linux] Installing Typo3

Hello,

i try to install typo3 on a debian sarge system.

I downloaded the dummy and the typo3 package seperatly.

When i try to enter in the install menu, i get this error:


Warning: mysql_list_tables(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link 
resource in /var/www/typo3_src-4.0/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 967

I think this must also the reason that i cant login to the database.

Can  somebody help me?
