I am running a Virtuozzo VPS with Red Hat 9 and Plesk control panel.

I do not think SElinux is installed.

I wonder if the PHP secure mode is the problem, even when I though that GM  
has not to deal with it.

Certainly I do not want to turn the secure mode off, in such case, ther  
most be a way to release just the user to run GM.
