Hi,
No worries, found the way to the solution in another posting. Permissions
were wrong and are now changed to 755, which then gave me access to all my
tools again.

Subject: [Typo3-linux] Can't edit Templa Voila pages after moving to
Linux(Typo 3.8)
Hi,
I have a great issue after moving to a Linux platform. I am unable to edit
my pages all created with TV. Instead of the usual edit window with me
elements my backend just display my web page.
Here is the series of events:
1. Backup of my windows installation including the DB. Typo3 3.7 but
was tested working with 3.8
2. Created the Typo3 3.8 installation on Linux with Fantastico script.
3. Moved the DB.
4. Moved all files including the EXT
5. Upgraded/updated the DB as I should.
Well, first all my EXT was not recognized by the Typo3 installation, so I
updated them all with the Typo3 Manager and vupti, my page was running from
the frontend. No problem.
Then I wanted to edit my pages and with TV you should use the "green" page
edit, but it only shows my web page and I also saw that my VTS (Visitor
Tracing System) is doing the same.
So apparently the EXT, pages and DB is working fine from a frontend user
view, but I can't work with my backend.
Any suggestion is appreciated. I am not used to work with Linux, so I might
have done something wrong.
/Jack
