[Typo3-linux] Using one typo3-source for more than one webroot.

Thank you very much for the advice.

As I stated in my earlier mail, I did everything as you suggested, but still get a white screen. 
Could you give me an example of what you mean with carefull shell work other than using the command sudo. (I know something about linux, but not very much to figure out something else)

And is it still possible, in my situation, for a domainadministrator of a certain domain to change something in the typo3_src directory eventhough the rights of that directory are like this (using PHPshell):
owner: root       --- rwx
group: psaserv (webserver group from Plesk)  --- r x
everyone else     --- r x
