I don't know what platform you are installing it on, but on GNU/Linux
systems the Typo3 package does not have any installer, as such there is
nothing to do before "installing". There is simply some symlinks to the
contents of the extracted Typo3 archive.
I have gotten the ImageMagick side of things more-or-less working on
version 4.2.9. I realised the problem for this version working was that I
still had it set to use "composite" rather than "combine" (noticed this in
my Apache logs. However, it still fails to work on all other versions of
ImageMagick.
Now I only have two problems:
Firstly, it refuses to find the delegates.mgk file, which I have tried
placing in the ./bin and in ./share/ImageMagick and in
/usr/share/ImageMagick with no luck. I'll have to stack trace the convert
file from the RPM to see where it is looking when it runs convert, though
I do not know what command is receiving this error, as it happens when I
load PHP pages that don't specifically seem to have graphics on them. It
may be the script checking checking what version of ImageMagick is
installed.
Secondly, Typo3 being unable to create a new database on PHP 4.x.x is
still a show-stopping problem.
