[Typo3-linux] SymLinks and Typo3-install (1&1 Root Server)

Hi List,

i'm very new to Linux and have some problems to get Typo3 running on my 1&1
Root Server (Suse 8.1). I think the problem are the SymLinks included in the
typo3_src & quickstart package wich i installed with the step by step
install text from the packages from Michael Stucki. But i got everytime this
message: You don't have permission to access /quickstart/ (that's were the
quickstart package is installed) on this server.

so here goes my directory with typo3:
/home/www/web7/html/

What the hell i'm doing wrong? I have read all the install tips and install
lists thousand times but nothing really works. am i so stupid?
