[TYPO3-install] blank page after fresh install of v. 6.2.0

Dear fellow forists,

I loaded the content of typo3_src-6.2.0 - directory into the root directory of the server and tried to get to the install screen.

I did see a blank page - no error message, no html whatsoever.

The server parameters i had acces to over the admin site of the hoster are the following:

PHP 5.5

memory_limit 128M 128M
max_execution_time 25 25
zlib.output_compression Aus Aus
Apache mod_rewrite Ein Ein
ionCube Loader Aus Aus Diese Funktionen verlangsamen die Ladezeit Ihrer Website!
Zend Guard Loader - - -

I switched on all php error messages and got:

Warning: require(/home/.sites/103/site1997/web/typo3/sysext/core/Classes/Core/Bootstrap.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.sites/103/site1997/web/index.php on line 36

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/home/.sites/103/site1997/web/typo3/sysext/core/Classes/Core/Bootstrap.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/.sites/103/site1997/web/index.php on line 36

I cannot figure out the signification of it.

Is this a bug of the package? If not, what would be the first priority to check?
