[TYPO3-install] TYPO3 4.5 Upgrade to 6

Hi everyone, 

I am new here and I couldn't find a special topic about this so I hope this is the right place for the question...

Is it possible to export the page tree of a TYPO3 version 4.5 and import it into a Version 6.1? 

We want to update our TYPO3 4.5 version to a 6.1 and the Template of the website but we want to keep our page tree as it is huge. We only want to change the Frontend Pages. The page tree structure remains as it is.
Is there another way to update the whole CMS besides upgrading from Version 4.5 to 4.6 to 4.7 to 6?

I am not a TYPO3 Expert so I thought I might ask here for help and tips how to realize this plan.
