[TYPO3-install] database not detected

I m trying to install Typo3, the install tool is
connected to MySQL, but no database selected, and I
have the following warning message:

The database list is empty(see
'no_database_selected.jpg'), and I can't create a new
one(see 'canot_create_new_database.jpg').

So, how can I resolve this problem.
