[Typo3-install] Moving TYPO3 to new host -> NO PAGES ON THE ROOT LEVEL

Hi All,

I am really in need of help here. I decided to move my TYPO3 site to a new
host. I zipped the whole www document root folder and unzipped it to the new
host account root folder, and then I dumped the whole mysql database, and
imported it to the other hosts mysql server. After editing the
typo3sonf/localconf.php to the new mysql login/pass/url I managed to log in
to the BE. I can see now the pages, with the contents on them, and so on.
But, if I click view on the root page I get: ERROR There are no pages on the
root level. If I want to see the view of a specific page> ERROR: The
requested page dose not exists. Both of these are TYPO3 error pages, not web
server standard error pages.

So I don't know what the problem might be. I tried many other variations,
like installing a new TYPO3 installation to see if quickstart has the same
problem, but no problem with the QUICKSTART package. Though you might think
this should be an alternative, it is not. I had so many moduls/themes/TS
stuf in use, that it is a nightmare to configure that from the beginning.

Please help me.

Thx, and a happy new year!

TOM
