Hallo Johannes, 

danke fuer Deine Intervention: 
habe den .tar.gz
entpackt zu .tar
und letzteren noch einmal entpackt zu 
typo3_src-7.6.11

....letzteren habe ich in die htdocs Ordner gelegt und dort umbenannt: "projekt1;

im Browser erhalte ich wieder bei entspr. Eingaben folgende Meldung:
Index of /projekt1

[ICO]	Name	Last modified	Size	Description
[PARENTDIR]	Parent Directory	 	-	 
[DIR]	projekt1/	2016-09-13 12:04	-	 
Apache/2.4.9 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.1g PHP/5.5.11 Server at localhost Port 80
