[TYPO3-german] GMENU und transparenter Hintergrund

Guten Abend Liste,

ich steh mal wieder auf dem Schlauch. Für ein Menü soll ich (etwas 
antiquiert) runde Knöpfe einsetzen. Mach ich mit GMENU, klappt auch ganz 
gut - nur: die Ecken um die runden Knöpfe bleiben weiß. Ich hab etliches 
gegoogelt und bin mit folgendem TS rausgekommen

Das Gleiche natürlich für RO und ACT. Im CSS für .top_item steht nochmal 
explizit background-color:none. In den original-PNGs sind natürlich die 
Ecken transparent... Alles für die Katz... Hat jemand von Euch einen Tipp?
