[TYPO3-german] metatags

Hallo liebe liste,

ich habe ein kleines Problem mit metatags und zwar generiert typo3 4.0
folgenden meta Tag als erstes in der Seite direkt nach 

<head>

               <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;
charset=iso-8859-1" />
laut w3c scheint es aber so nicht erlaubt zu sein, denn meine Seite wird mit
folgendem Fehler bemängelt:

Error Line 5 column 74: character data is not allowed here.

..." content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />

You have used character data somewhere it is not permitted to appear.
Mistakes that can cause this error include putting text directly in the body
of the document without wrapping it in a container element (such as a
<p>aragraph</p>) or forgetting to quote an attribute value (where characters
such as "%" and "/" are common, but cannot appear without surrounding
quotes). 

Nun zu meiner Frage wie kann ich diesen metatag beeinflussen ?
