hast du den Abschnitt "Configuring the use of categories" der Dokumentation
beachtet? Sind alle Tabellen in Ordnung (d.h. vollständig und unversehrt)?
Hast du den typo3conf-Cache nach der Installation von Direct Mail geleert?
