[Typo3-UG France] Typo3 n'importe pas le database sql-file

Je n'arrive pas à importer le database sql-file durant l'installation de 
la version quickstart 3.8.0

Typo 3 se connecte sans problème avec MySQL, mais à l'heure d'importer 
le sql-file depuis le database analyser, je reçois cette réponse:

*No tables* There seems to be no CREATE TABLE definitions in the SQL 
file. This tool is intelligently creating one table at a time and not 
just dumping the whole content of the file uncritically. That's why 
there must be defined tables in the SQL file.
"

Par ailleurs, il ne m'est pas non plus possible de créer une DB.

J'ai regardé dans les archives de plusieurs mail lists, mais n'ai rien trouvé. 

Je suis un débutant avec Typo3, et certainement pas un développeur professionel, mais j'avais déjà installé le quickstart 3.7.0, sans avoir ce problème, sur un autre serveur. 

L'installation est réalisée chez un host provider.
