[TYPO3-english] Typo3 version 4.7.15 domain name update

Hi all,

I have a client with an old version of typo3 (4.7.15) installed at the time with a domain name x
The client a registered a new domain name y and wants the website to work this this new domain and just forget the old one.

The new domain name x is pointing to the website but typo3 displays an error database related i think.

What steps should i take to make this change?

Basically everything stay the same, only the domain name change.

I don´t know much about this cms platform.
