[TYPO3-english] f:cObject nav_menu not rendered ?

I tried it with debug but it did not provide me any info that could help me. 

Is this the way to use it? 

<f:debug> <f:cObject typoscriptObjectPath=“lib.nav_main" /></f:debug>

That’s giving me only:

Extbase Variable Dump
'<div class="top-bar-left"></div>' (32 chars)
