[TYPO3-english] Updating domain models

Hi all,

When posting a form editing an existing model, when is the updated data
added to the domain model ?

When updateAction() called:
1.) Domain\Model is instantiated
2.) data fetched from DB and added to DomainModel.
3.) Post data applied to Domain\Model using setters.

Is that correct ?
