[TYPO3-english] preview for own FCEs?

at the moment I have the feeling I messed up the complete extension as 
nearly no configuration I do appears in the BE:

there are no icons for my CEs,

I can not change the preview (in module page) for my CEs.

the images are not shown in the default preview at all (current topic)

I want different configurations (fields) be visible depending on the 
column a CE is placed, but its always the same.
