[TYPO3-english] FAL Typoscript question

Hi all,

While upgrading a number of sites to 6.2 I noticed that I did not need to change 
the Typoscript for rendering things like fe_user images. It looks like it 
doesn't even need the treatIdAsReference=1 setting, is that correct?

Of course I did make the necessary changes for rendering tt_content images.

Does it mean FAL is not implemented in these other places yet? Just trying to 
understand, hope somebody can clarify.
