I don't think that you followed the necessary steps for an upgrade up to 
6.2. so you could expect to have a crashed site.
one of the update steps would be to deactivate all extensions, update to 
the newest version compatible with 6.2 and reactivate.
for extensions without proper version for 6.2 you need to inspect the 
code to do adaptions like: remove all require_once()
