[TYPO3-english] Apache log Error 500 - direct mail problem

Hi folks,

I installed many typo3 4.5 versions and then a few years nothing. Now I
want to install a typo3 6.2 with direct mail.

Strange - everything seems to work OK - even the realurl extension. But
as soon the direct mail pages in the backend are accessed the server
throws a error 500 message.

I checked the permissions.
Since it is a hosted site I can not change this php.ini settings.

any suggestions?
