Hmm, I never tested such a scenario. It may well be a bug. I can check 
but not right now, only in a couple of days (no free time before that).

Are you running with the debugging activated? If yes, you should see 
quite come output in the devlog, including the data structure sent to 
the TYPO3 Core Engine. There you should be able to see if the pid is 
sent at all. This could give us a hint about what's happening.
